“I am a true-blue old Bombay guy”. My client, having lived his childhood in a traditional mosaic floored Matunga home, wanted my version of his childhood impressions.

Recreating the feel of a Bombay home for a couple with understated organic elegance always dressed in sharp linens was an interesting concept for us to explore a home to walk around in barefoot.

It had to be a space, devoid of too many décor pieces and the walls and floors are enough to lend to its artistic intent, Hence the generous use of insitu on walls and patterned floorings.

The images of what best could be captured only cover one level of the space as we get going on the upper floor (given they were inhabiting one floor).
